How about a little empathy?
I cannot believe some of the comments made since Madam Kwa Geok Choo passed. It’s hard to accept the fact that an individual, whom, for his or her sake, I hope, received some form of education, is able to display such insensitivity. MM Lee’s political directions may not please everyone, but what single idea is celebrated by 100% of the population? I’m not saying that I am able to accept all of MM Lee’s past actions wholeheartedly. But he IS the man who made Singapore, whether you like it or not. Anyway this isn’t about all that at all. I guess what I’m really trying to say is, how about some empathy, Singapore? Or has it gone out the window along with courtesy, civic mindedness and everything else except for egocentrism?
